This was my first 911 AUTOart model. I admired the detail and finish of the car which evolved later on. 996 GT3 and GT3 RS are still the best drivers GT3 for most of the enthusiasts. They say, the feel of the body, steering and throttle response is almost like a race car which is because unlike some other monstrous “Track use only” like cars, Porsche’s GT3 and some other street versions are derived from the race cars. So this is the road car derived from a race car which is also derived from a road car. The model, as it is in the original car, there is nothing to see in the engine bay. The wheels are fine, brake discs are a little plasticky. The paint is fine. After 996, AUTOart chose to raise up the door windows which was a great decision. The cage, fire extinguisher etc. are great detail add ons. You know some of the model car builder still don’t put roll cages on even the race cars. Date purchased : 2010 Price paid : 90 USD
Fiat Punto S1600 Targa Florio Rally 2003 #5 / Andreucci Paolo – Andreussi Anna Rally cars or say racing cars are high on detail most of the time. This is a good example. Interior has racing seats, roll cage etc. So the model also has to have them. Ricko has more details than a Sunstar or a Solido of the time while just a hint less than an AUTOart. World known via James Bond, as all other models of Lotus, Esprit has a lot of quality issues. The design was way ahead of its time though. The AUTOart model has a nice mould. Panels gaps can be annoying if you find yourself starring at her. The paint is cool. Interior and engine details are fine. I couldn’t picture but the underneath of the car is amazing, full of chassis details. Date purchased : 2013 Price paid : 130 USD
Chrono, a strange company. This car, a scale model built for the hobbyist, has an astonishing feature. It’s a pull-back action car. Funny? The scale, overall shape etc. is ok. Wheels, tyres, interior is not.. Also the windscreen and other windows are blur-green colored, like a teenage modifier owned the car before me. Date purchased : 2007 Price paid : N/A
